Theoretical Aspect:

• Basics of the profession: Learn how to become a professional dental prosthesis and familiarize yourself with all the tools used in the industry.

• General introduction to dentures (generalization on the dental prosthesis) and tooth loss (dental édentements).

• Understanding the biological indicators of the crests (biological indicators of the maxillary crests) and dental occlusion (dental occlusion).

• Study of tooth surfaces (tooth surfaces).

• Learn about commonly used materials, such as acrylic and dental wax, to shape teeth.

• Learn modeling techniques to create precise dentures.

Practical part:

• Denture design: Learn how to manufacture complete and partial dentures using materials and matrices (molds and mold holders).

• Use specialized tools such as:

o Dental wax to precisely shape teeth.

o Wax spatula to adjust wax and fine-tune details.

o Flat knife to precisely trim wax.

o Edge scissors to trim edges.

o Modeling pincers to adjust the shape of teeth.

o Mouth base plate (base plate) to hold teeth during the modeling process.

• Other tasks in the course:

o Affixing dentures to the articulator (articulator).

o Mounting dentures (tooth fitting) and molding (fixation within the mold).

o Finishing the denture (finishing the denture).
